In 2026, Wardandi Elders Vivian Brockman Webb and Mitchella Hutchins travelled to Glasgow, Scotland for the Awakening Glasgow festival, creating a bora land artwork at Bellahouston Park with local artists and community. Built over five days in the ancient kingdom of Strathclyde, the work wove Wardandi culture together with Scotland's oldest stories, celebrating connection to earth, community and our shared role as custodians.

Each year for Reconciliation Week, Nala Boodja hosts a celebration of Wardandi culture and boojda at The Heart, in Wooditjup Bilya (Margaret River). This is an opportunity for the community to gather, share in music, create a collective artwork, and join in painting, weaving, and other activities. Here are some highlights from Kwobba Koornt events.
